Case studies to dollar-driving redesigns

MTA transit app

Redesigning the homepage of New York’s all-in-one transit app “MYmta” to quickly surface some of the most important information, making the app experience more intuitive, more New York and — hopefully — make getting around simpler. A case study (2022).

Spotify: Transitions Mode

Designing better hands-off playlist functionality for Spotify’s music player. Transitions Mode empowers users to set custom start and end points to any song on any playlist in advance — allowing them to skip the parts they want to when it’s time, and not requiring them to drop what they are doing to do so manually. A case study (2021).

Conversions, Please.
An Inline Widget Redesign

Seeking to increase affiliate revenue, the TPG customer experience team looked to redesign a permanent credit card “widget” placement above the fold on nearly every page on the site. I worked alongside this team, Business Development and Design to lead the redesign effort for a more intuitive, more trustworthy and ultimately more impactful card widget.

Interaction Redesigned:
Highlights & Appended Comments

Set on totally redesigning the community experience through a novel approach to user-generated content, I pitched and designed a fresh user experience that turned a toxic comment section into a searchable, discoverable, scalable community.

Learning for the Masses:
The Interactive Beginner’s Guide

What if you could go from being completely new to the world of credit cards, points and miles to knowing how to land your dream vacation in under 90 minutes?

On an agile team piloting an overhauled approach to financial literacy and rewards travel, I helped build a series of interactive courses that aim to hook and convert new audiences through smart user experience and content strategy. (Full page coming soon)

This project is still in progress.

Learning Reimagined:
TPG Learning Center

The Points Guy (TPG), known for its thorough coverage of points & miles, credit cards, aviation and travel, offers a one-size-fits-all experience for all users.

In a project for a UX Design course, I researched and designed a solution for users to get the information that they wanted faster, and in the process, turned my design hobby into a practical skill set.
